music: Matt LeGrow/Ryan Biller words: Matt LeGrow Welcome to the Nightmare where everybody's gonna let you drown watch you slip under the waves while nobody makes a sound King of nothing special, heavy is the head that wears the crown All our burdens differ but they feel the same when they take you down All life situations Just more complications Imprisoned again Simply walking down the street, just an ordinary man When the gates of hell will open there's no higher ground to stand We all have our breakdowns and our angels just step aside When the darkness comes, you know you'll be taken for a ride Your trials they can shape you can mentally rape you the Devil is hunting you everywhere You lie to your mother You kill your own brother So people won't feel your Thousand mile stare Welcome to the real world where every cog has its machine All around you, selling out - there's nobody left that's clean Nothing like an exorcism, like a dose of truth Sucking on the blood of time, like a vampire of my youth Demons they come in all shapes and sizes Demons they go, so full of surprises Demons they wait, no one realizes Demons pile up, beyond my horizons They're everywhere

Mara 03:07
words and music - Pat Paul Frozen The Fear awakes And steals the air From my intake See me See through Your clandestinity See Me See Me Broaching With heavy weight These phrenic words Confabulate Hear me Empathize Your complex despondency Hear me Hear Me Are you some forgotten son? I know you're a lonely one Hungry for a piece of mine Mara - and you're right on time Are you some forgotten son? I know you're a lonely one Hungry for a piece of mine Mara - and you're right on time

words and music - Matt LeGrow Cries on the wind never heard This reality absurd Leaving footprints in our wake This isolation all I can take The scent of carrion across the skies the thrill of the journey I despise shrinking from the public's eyes hiding in a field of lies Lonely walker -skies are grey going hungry again today another year for my decay Lonely walker - skies are blue there is nothing I cannot do The life I lead outside of you I was visible today and all the terror I convey and all the sadness I can borrow when I forget about tomorrow Lonely walker - skies are grey going hungry again today another year for my decay Lonely walker - skies are blue there is nothing I cannot do The life I lead outside of you.
4.
words and music - Pat Paul they come from the skyway beyond our sight some pass by some they stick around for a while to see how we are flawed and easily scarred knowing our end's near that they've seen it before with the blink of an eye they're beyond our sight some pass by some stay to play us for a while to see how we are flawed and easily opened knowing our end's near leaving us scared and broken some pass some stay some scare some break

music: Matt LeGrow/Ryan Biller words: Matt LeGrow Sonic weapons in my heart Feeling like i'm torn apart Beam at me, silent and clear Makes me feel like you are near (x2) When you're gone I lose myself And I try to find peace of mind When the buzz and the din subsides And it feels so good to be wanted Instead of old and haunted I can hear you in my sleep like locusts calling from the deep I can feel you in my dreams I can see you in my dreams Sonic waves bounce in my head This empty spot in our own bed Feels like i'm torn apart By sonic weapons in my heart When you aim your energy

words and music - Pat Paul we had to give up and swallow cold bitter tasting defeat and as we cried walls kept inside sounds they dare not repeat you had give in and follow cold bitter footprints we left and as you heard walls every word sounds they struck through your head may you forever sleep drifting violently deep into a world you should have never known finger to eye claw to the bone - to the bone should have never known what walls can keep dare not repeat
8.
words and music - Matt LeGrow Moon is full up in in the air I shed this second skin and this charade I can scarcely bear to disguise the state of mind i'm in the city breathes so heavily like hunted prey in the night the hungry pack lines up behind me savoring the coming flight wine and song - they go down easy this fantasy of flesh and sin the smiles and howls, distorted faces reckoning our nightly din soon the morning comes and we shift our shapes once more for another day's mortality and to limp through the office door (x2)

Machinations 03:58
words - Matt LeGrow/Pat Paul music - Pat As I look around these quiet streets are screaming out government agency conspiracy on every frequency watching from the alley a bug behind every door insanity what i'm living for a flashing box with a handsome face telling me the world's a safer place! freedom is the right to choose a world which isn't yours to lose TV reality through which I slumber - trusting noone doing nothing at all - ever dumber and I choose to believe in lies that push me through - sterilize A flashing box With a telling smile tellling me the world's safe awhile freedom is the right to choose a world which isn't yours to lose TV reality through which I slumber - trusting noone doing nothing at all - ever dumber

music: Pat Paul words: Matt LeGrow never cared for politicians never cared for progress, true I lived my life inside a hole tried to fill it up with you all we ever had was each other and we gave it up, too so raise a glass and let humanity pass don't feel so broken and blue celebrate what is and never shall be drink some more with me never worried about calamity got no love for this society broke us down inside and out dont waste your voice to scream and shout all we ever had was each other and we gave it up, too so raise a glass and let humanity pass don't feel so broken and blue celebrate what is and never shall be drink some more with me

about

The remains of Last Band have been carried across time and space looking for the right time to strike, yet never quite finding a home. With the resequencing of the debut, the writing was on the wall that the second "Paranormal" album needed to be finished in the spirit of the original plan. Mixes from different audio systems were reconstructed, old mistakes were fixed and new ones made, masters were Re-'d, plus a few incomplete odds and sods were tampered with, and thus a dessert EP becomes a full-fledged monster meal. A few of these tracks in various forms have trickled out in earlier forms, but on the ten-year anniversary of the original full band demo, they look better as bookends to this fun little chapter of our lives.
